Waiting for my daughter while she is doing her winter swimming lesson. This is every Wednesday night at one of the local hotels here. It's 35 degrees outside but inside here is a steamy 75 degrees (maybe).
One of my favorite season is here. Beautiful colors are everywhere. It is just sad to bid to the green leaves for a while but before all the green leaves totally disappear, they will give you these beautiful colors you can ever imagine. But when the it rains and it gets windy, not only are the trees have beautiful colors but the ground too.
Today marks the first anniversary of the superstorm that struck and destroy our famous Jersey Shore. That was 12 months ago and now, it has been rebuilt and was back in business for the summer.
Jersey Shore was our first stop on our summer vacation. It seems nothing happened. Almost everything at the boardwalk was brand new.
Here are some pictures I took on the first beach weather we had last summer.
I already had this checked on my list.
I feel like it is a must that I have to teach learn how to bike with no training wheels.
She already had two bikes before, training wheels still there until she outgrown them. She was did not have enough courage to do it or maybe she needed more push from us.
So this summer, she got a junior bike with no option for training wheels at all. At first she was scared...because it was a little bigger but it did not take too long until she got the hang of it. She now feel comfortable biking on a walk way by our house...on her own. She doesn't need assistance anymore on how to start pedaling. I just watch her and she's all fine. All she says now is biking is a lot of fun.
Our summer went by so fast but I made sure my daughter was busy with activities like learning Russian language for kids and especially sports. I enrolled her in two swimming lessons, played tennis and soccer. I want to take advantage of the warm weather during the summer so I let her engage more on outdoor activities. When the cold season comes, we cannot be playing outside anymore but her swimming lesson continues in an indoor pool.
This is a real first for my daughter. I know she loves water so when I saw a deal on Groupon about swimming lesson for kids, I signed her up right away. It's a 45 minute lesson, 4 times for 2 weeks. I got a time slot after where I can bring her during my lunch break. It was in a gym indoor pool about 5 miles away from my job.
My daughter had a grand time with her first swimming lesson. She was so eager to learn and it seemed that she never got tired of the water but as soon as she is in the car on our way home she was knocked out.
This is just the first ....
I can still remember my first time in buying a car. It was an unforgettable not only because it was my first time but I had a very annoying salesperson with very little customer service. I should have walked away. It was the urgent need to have a car that time made so lazy to try other car dealers. As they always say, charge it to experience. The car turned out to be a very reliable one which gave me no problems at all for the six years I had it.
