There are reasons why i still like my daughter on the shopping cart when we go shopping. First, I am always scared that she gets lost. You know how kids sometimes (most of the time actually), they just disappear in a second and you be crazy looking for her all over the place. Sometimes i find her under the racks of clothes or at the toys section without even telling me although I always tell her "do not go anywhere, just stay by mommy." It is for her safety, hearing all those horrifying stories of kids getting lost in the store, God forbid. And also, she likes it being on the cart. But now that she is almost 8 years old, it is a struggle to take her in and out of the cart. If my husband is not with us, i cannot do it. Some carts are too small for her already!
