My daughter is now 6 years old but she still loves listening to her kiddie songs. I could say she grew up listening to her nursery songs because I could still remember when I bought those cd’s for her. I think she was only weeks old that time and from then on that cd never left my car’s cd player. No other music is played except for her songs when my daughter is inside my car. It has been days that we waited for the two hanging front teeth to fall off. They both fell off almost at the same time, one was at breakfast when she was eating her cheerios. It was funny when she yelled at me "mom, my teeth!!" but her mouth was full of cheerios. I made her spit everything to find her tooth. Next tooth fell was when she was brushing her teeth the next day.

The new permanent teeth is coming out too. Soon, she will have three permanent teeth out, two already at the bottom and the newest one.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our town always do the easter egg hunt a little bit earlier than easter sunday. It was held at the town memorial park at 10:00 am today. It was brutally cold at 32 degrees so kids have to bundle up. The cold did not bother them at all. They were all excited to find those eggs. After the instructions were told, kids ran around the football field to find the easter eggs. There were three golden eggs that can win you basket of prizes but my daughter was not lucky enough to find them.

After the egg hunting, kids went to the library to get free balloons. That's the princess balloon she is holding right there.

Dsl To Cable

We changed our internet, TV and phone service last Friday. It is a switch from dsl to cable. As far as the internet is concerned, I don’t see any difference when it comes to speed but with the television broadcast, my husband says that the new service gives us clearer pictures than the old one. When you have a hi def television, you will really get excellent pictures especially with the HD channels they provide now.

I am so happy that we were able to get a free DVD recorder from our new carrier. Now I can record shows I miss during times that I would be working. The cable guy also helped my husband how to reconnect the home theater. This really excites me because there are morning shows from tfc that I cannot watch at night but with the dvr I can record and watch them during my free time.

This switch is long overdue. I just waited for our contract to end to avoid any fees that I may get charged. We are under contract again but we are happy with the service and the savings.

Mom Did It

I cut her bangs to keep it from touching her eyes. It's not bad right?

I've done this before but never took a picture of it.

Her hair grows fast. In few weeks, it needs another trim again. I want to keep the length so I just trim the bang.

On A Rainy Saturday

No complaints about the rain. This is a blessing, just think about the areas affected by el nino esp philippines.

It has been raining since yesterday until Monday. It is a wash out weekend with very strong winds. It is scary to go outside. A lazy day....waking up to a very cloudy morning thinking it was still 6 am yun pala 8:30 na! We already had our brunch but I am still in my pajamas while the two are watching tv.

Hope Manny Pacquiao wins tonight.

Last Weekend

When the weather gets warmer, you see people outside enjoying every moment of it. My daughter was so happy that she was able to play at the little playground in one of the outlet malls here. After eating her snack, I let her play and enjoy the sun while we were at the tables watching.

Hay, finally springtime is here.

In Celebration of Dr. Seuss Birthday

This is a hat my daughter made in school as they celebrate Dr. Seuss 105th birthday last Tuesday, March 2nd. Since last week, the kids have been asked to bring their Dr. Seuss books to school so that they can read one book a day as their way of remembering Dr. Seuss through Read Across America.

Dr. Seuss have published more than 60 books for kids like the famous "the cat in the hat, one fish two fish, how the grinch stole christmas, etc. My daughter loves his books especially now that she knows how to read.
