I Love Snow

Maybe if I start saying i love the snow it will go away soon. This is a marathon 3 day of snow since yesterday up to tomorrow as per the weather bureau. We are staying home except hubby who is at work.

I feel asleep early last night because I got tired shoveling thinking that I will wake up with no additional snow but it was the opposite. More than a foot came down since the last night and it's not over yet. I also saw on TV that some areas have lost power and i think that's the worst that will ever happen to your family on a snow storm. Hope everybody is safe and warm.

Hello Kitty Digital Camera

If I have my own digital camera, the daughter has her own too. She got this as a gift last Christmas. It is a hello kitty digital camera kit. Came with 2 extra face plates, a software and a usb port to download the pictures to the computer. It can even shoot video. We haven't tried it yet but that's what it says. There's no need for a memory card but the camera can take up to 152 pictures. Now it is so funny how she walks around the house always saying "Say Cheese" to us and take any pictures she care.

Valentine Brownies

Our valentine dinner was last night to avoid the big crowd and waiting time at restaurants on valentine's day itself. For today, we had a special homemade breakfast and the day is being spent just chilling at home. My daughter requested that we bake some brownies and while she waited for it to cool down, she got the icing tube left (only one color left - blue!). She draw a heart on top and yelled "happy valentine's day."

In celebration of President's day tomorrow, it is a holiday here. So this is the best treat for our valentine weekend - a long weekend plus Chinese new year and an extra day of no work tomorrow.

Wednesday Storm

She has to get out when it is snowing. From the time the first snowflakes fall, she will be at the window watching and waiting until it was time to play snow. The snow lasted the whole day until night time. I took my daughter out only on my first round of clearing the snow from the car. I did it three times. Every 4 hours or so I see another 5 inches of snow on top of the van!!! My husband was at work. I did a lot of digging, so does he when he came home from work that night and we dug out again this morning after the snow trucks plowed back the snow into our cars.

From A Birthday Party At Mickie D's

My daughter is showing off the party favors she got from her classmate's birthday party at Mc Donalds last Saturday. The kids had so much fun at the play area and almost all her classmates attended. They all enjoyed the french fries, chicken nuggets, burgers, ice cream and the ronald mc donald cake. So much yelling, laughing, running around and playing. I don't kids ever get tired. it's all fun.
