Exchanges and Returns

This is the line at one store's returns and exchange section. We have seen longer lines at Target and Walmart. For less problems and smoother transaction, keep your sales or gift receipts and have the card you used handy. And please, do not return used items. I know someone who wears clothes with tags on, just in case she changes her mind, it is easy to return the item.

Santa Came To Town

Christmas dinner was served around 8:30 p.m. I know it's quite late but we have to wait for family members who were working until 7pm.

The moment the kids have been waiting - the gift giving was around 11:30 pm. Since Isabella knows how to read now, she was the assistant in reading the names during gift giving.

Then ....the opening of the gifts. Isabella got a lot of clothes, books and toys.

Snow Fun

It was around 28 degrees last Saturday. It was a perfect snow day. We did not get that much but we had enough for the kids to enjoy. Some parts of New Jersey and New York got two feet or more, we were lucky we got spared. Yesterday was only the first day of winter so there's more to come.

So my daughter and my neighbor's kids went sledding. There's a hilly part on our street so we don't have to go far for the kids to have fun. They enjoyed the snow so much. They don't want to leave. Their cheeks were like tomatoes!!! Do you think they fee cold?

So while the kids were playing, the grown ups were busy cleaning the snow on the driveway. Sigh!

Last weekend, I was watching a car show at The Filipino Channel featuring the different remodeled cars in the Philippines. It showcased how a very simple car is upgraded to a more stylish and powerful one. These cars become a head turner when they are on the road. But, how it is done? According to one host, it is a matter of knowing what parts and accessories you need and having the right shop to do it for you to improve your car's performance or look. An owner of a car who was at the show said that he always buys the latest dodge accessories for his durango every time he is in the U.S. for some business. Happy Birthday

Meet the birthday girl! She is now 6 years old. Huh, how time flies. I could still remember the day she was born. I was still driving around 12 noon then I had her at 5:18 p.m that day!

To you my dearest daughter, mommy and papa loves you so much. Happy happy birthday!

Her birthday party is canceled for Saturday because of the coming snow storm. We are expecting 12 inches of snow. I do sure she will have fun snow tubing/sledding.

Lately I have been following this soap at TFC. I don't know how I started with it but I found myself watching it every night. Problema lang, it aires around 12 midnight here (Eastern time) making me loose my sleeping time. Napupuyat ako! Now I have found a solution. I can the soap earlier online via pinoytambayan.tv. Check this site. I think you can watch all abs-cbn and gma shows with no commercial pa.
Call me cheesy but...ganyan pala talaga pag wala ka sa Phils.

I thought she got lost at barnes and noble. All of a sudden she disappeared behind my back. I found her sitting on one of the steps reading the book "My First Fairy Tales." I also saw her father from the far end glancing once in a while and reading too! I am just happy that she loves to read books.
