I saw the new show of Ruffa Gutierrez and Ai-ai delas Alas yesterday at TFC(under ABS-CBS) entitled “Ruffa and Ai.” Their pilot episode was last February 16 with guests KC Concepcion, Sarah Geronimo and Gabby Concepcion. My Daughter Skips School Today

I am still at home with my daughter. I decided to keep her today because she was running a fever since this morning. Although I gave her medicine but you can not be sure of fever. Our Valentine's Day

Valentine’s day weekend was my weekend off. I did not get flowers or chocolates (I prefer shopping) on Valentine’s Day (except for the v-day card our daughter made) but the three of us spent the whole day together. My husband wanted to go for a long drive.Our first stop was McDonalds for some breakfast. Of course, Isabella always begs not to leave because she likes to play at Mickie D’s. It was not a surprise to see a lot of cars on the highway since it was a long weekend too being Monday was President’s Day.

I was at my favorite store on V-day – J.Crew. The sign “additional 40% off” made my eyes sparkle. I love J Crew – from their women’s, men’s and Crew cuts (kids). Too bad, it was only at the women’s section. Papa just let me go through the racks while he and my daughter went to get some fresh baked pretzels next door. We left the store with a huge shopping bag. Papa smiled and said, “Happy Valentine’s day Mommy!” We were just taking our time walking around. It was not crowded or maybe we were early. It was still like 50 exits up but we managed to wait for almost 3:30 p.m. for lunch.

So, that was our V-Day celebration. It was good with Sunday and Monday off too.

My V-Day Card

I know this is quite late but I have to post the first Valentine Day card my daughter made for me. It's the sweetest gift I got for Valentine's day. Pre-Valentine Lunch

I just came from lunch with my family at Charlie Brown. Hubby is off today so it was his turn to bring and pick up our daughter from school. When it is his turn, I have to prepare everything - socks, boots, pants, shirt and undershirt the night before so that all he has to do in the morning is to change and feed her. No ponytails for my daughter because her dad does not know how to do it so I just told him to just comb her hair nice. So back to our lunch today..yeah, they came over. I had the fish and chip with Isabella and my husband had the steak tips with an order of salad bar. CB's choices of salad bar are one of the best. You get full just eating the salad. We have two co-workers that got laid off last year. Everybody really felt sorry for them but it is a management decision that we cannot control. I was so delighted Sunday morning when my friend T came by with pandesal and kutsinta from Philippine bread house in jersey city. These lovers were supposed to do a number at the Grammy’s last night but both canceled on the last minute because of an alleged assault charge filed against Chris Brown. A Little Treat of Spring

Today was a beautiful day with temperature rising up to 60 degrees. It was a warm and mild day. It was 20 degrees above normal. We turned off our heat and opened the windows. It's like spring time but how long this will last? We still have five weeks of winter left.

I'm In Wordpress

I do not know what got into my mind but I registered another blog again under wordpress. I know I already have several existing blogs but this one would be like my daily planner. It will be more personal to me. In addition, I really like the wordpress themes I have been seeing on several blogs that I read everyday. At first I was planning to change the home of one of my existing blog to wordpress but since I do not know how to do that, I decided to get one. So far I had made five posts but once I had enough entries I will formally introduce my new site. We just saved $460 in our car insurance for six months. We are paying $1440 for a brand new van and a car but now with our new insurance it went down to $980. Improving Opps

Computer Breakdown

When I came home from work yesterday, I saw the computer with three pop-ups on the screen and what caught my attention was the first pop-up that says, “Warning, your computer is infected.” Normally, I come home with my daughter playing on the computer but this time she was not. She knows there is something wrong with it.
