We went to Red Ribbon in Jersey City, New Jersey last Saturday for a late lunch. This is the first Red Ribbon in the New York-New Jersey area but they are opening more branches soon in Bergenfield (which is closer to me) and Queens, New York. It opened probably a year ago and the first time we came here few days after the opening it was packed. Come the holiday season, you will see all the pinoys flocking this place.
I love their cakes, chicken empanada and ube shake. They have basically same menu as back home but i was surprised that they have beef caldereta with rice. It was good, love the spicyness (is these such a word? or wrong spelling?) of it. We bought a lot for to go and I am munching a mamon to go with my hot chocolate for breakfast.

oh my! i miss red ribbon! miss ko rin goldilocks! wish we have those in our place. im sure everyday I'd be there! :) mmmm...yummmm! love ko sa red ribbon is their Black Forest cake...sa goldilocks is their chocolate cake, brazo de mercedez, palabok, and barbeque!mmmmmmmmmmm talga! heheehe..cencia na..buntis eh heheeh :)
