deal or no deal with howie mendel & kris aquino

Last night, it was shown on NBC the Philippine episode of deal or no deal where Howie Mendel and Kris Aquino were hosts. It was shot in the philippines and the contestants were flown to there. The prize money was in dollars (not pesO!!!) with the 26K girls as the briefcase ladies (all pinays shempre). The audience are all filipinos (of course!) so with the banker. I’m not saying that they showed his face but you can tell from the silouhette that he is filipino. It is part of the world tour of Deal or No Deal and the Philippine version was chosen because they find our version as “awesome and fun”. The difference with the u.s. version is that in the Philippines the audience sing and dance. Masayahing tao talaga ang mga pilipino, noh?

On the lighter side, howie mendell was able to see a little of the philippines. He went to Quiapo, went around ABS-CBN compound in a pedicab waving to his fans with the 26k girls and tried our famous balut. He was even taught to call the contestants “pare” and tell the girls “buksan mo na” (to open the suitcase). It was a 2 hour show but sadly this episode will not be shown on philippine television !? (tears, tears,tears). I hope they can do some request on this one. For now, we have you tube to see this episode.
