I went to get gas this morning. What the!!!!....it’s $3.05/gallon on the pump but on the signboard it says $3.0?. It is expected that it will go up more anytime. Never was it on the $3.00 mark. This is ridiculous now. I should have went last night, it was still $2.97. In Jersey, our gas prices is still lower compared to san Francisco, la or other states but we are talking about increase here.
When you cross the river (that is our boundary to new york city) their gas is always .50 to .75 cents higher that is why a lot of new Yorkers prefer to get gas in jersey or they have their tanks filled before going back to the city. But isn’t it that Ez pass just went up from $6.00 to $8.00? I won’t be surprised if by summer time the gas will be $4 or $5 per gallon.
